Solace Technologies completes acquisition of Nimbus Cloud. Announces Continuance™, a new category of remembrance.

Solace Technologies, Inc. today announced the completion of its acquisition of Nimbus Cloud, Inc., a leader in machine-learning infrastructure. The transaction includes Nimbus's engineering platform, its training and inference clusters in Umatilla County, Oregon, and its data infrastructure and archival holdings.

Continuance™: a new category

The acquisition accelerates the launch of Continuance™, Solace's flagship remembrance platform, entering limited beta this winter. Continuance allows families to preserve and continue their connection with loved ones who have passed, through a conversational experience built from the materials a life leaves behind. Continuance will be offered in Free, Keepsake, Memory+, and Eternal plans, with family sharing available.

Solace also announced expanded partnerships with more than ninety health systems nationwide through its clinical legacy programs, which give bereaved families a continuity of care that does not end at the bedside.

Integration

Nimbus Cloud's Umatilla campus will be expanded and will operate as a dedicated Solace facility. Approximately 200 Nimbus roles will be eliminated in the integration. Affected employees will receive transition support.

Beta enrollment opens this winter for families affiliated with partner health systems, who will receive priority matching against existing archival holdings. General availability will follow.
