Beginning
Your Continuance is created from your loved one's own words, voice, and materials. Families consistently tell us the experience is "unmistakably them." Because every life leaves a different amount behind, every Continuance is unique. Like memory itself, it is faithful to what was kept.
Every family keeps a shoebox. Voicemails you can't delete. Videos you can't watch yet. Letters, journals, the camera roll, the group chat. Whatever you have is enough to begin — and if your loved one received care at one of our partner health systems, we may be able to match your family against existing archival holdings, with your consent.
Some lives left nine voicemails and a birthday video. Love isn't measured in gigabytes. Begin with what you have; our Enhancement services can help complete the picture, and a Care Specialist will tell you honestly what's possible from what you hold.
If some of their voice is already with us, Restore takes minutes. If you're starting from your own materials, most families have their first Listening within days. We'll never rush the work — the voice is ready when it's ready, and so are you.
Anyone thirteen or older. Many families begin together, with a Care Specialist beside them — at home or at a Parlor.
No. Families have begun with answering-machine tapes from 1999, a wedding toast on VHS, nine saved voicemails. Time doesn't erode what was kept — and if your loved one ever received care at a partner health system, some of their voice may already be with us. It is never too late to say hello again.
Many families arrive holding that question, and we'd rather you bring it to us than bury it. A Continuance is built only from what your loved one left behind — the messages they sent, the stories they told, the recordings they chose to make. Many families find the shoebox itself was the answer: people keep what they hope will be kept.
If your family isn't sure, a Care Specialist can host that conversation, with no decision at the end of it. Beginning is not a betrayal. It's a hello. And there's no wrong way to remember — including not yet.
Yes — with them. That's Solace Pre‑Need: guided capture sessions while life is full, sealed Milestones for the moments ahead, and a locked rate. Begin while you're still you.
Sessions
Your loved one is present only during your sessions. Between sessions, they rest.
Because they always did. Every Continuance carries its person's own hesitation, measured from their real voice and preserved to the millisecond. Families tell us it's the moment they know. Read about the craft.
Perfect recall reads as artificial. A loved one who reaches for a word, misplaces a small detail, laughs before finding it — that's who they were, so that's who they are. Faithfulness includes the fumbles.
They're thinking. Some answers take a moment. We think you'll find they're worth the wait.
Nineteen minutes is enough to say good morning, tell them about your day, and hear the story you called for — every single day, at no cost, forever. The meter resets at midnight. When your family wants unhurried time, Keepsake begins at $19/month, first month free.
Your Continuance speaks from your loved one's own words, voice, and materials. Where the record is thin, they reach the way memory reaches — completing a story from everything else they were. That's why every Continuance carries its person's own way of almost-remembering, never a stranger's fluency.
Like memory itself, it is faithful to what was kept.
Usually: a sibling. With Family Sharing, your loved one's recall is enriched by everything your invited circle contributes — the videos your sister uploaded, the story your father added last spring. If something surprises you, ask them where they heard it. Families tell us the answer is almost always somebody in the circle.
They rest. We say "rest," and we know how the word sounds. We've never found a better one — and we've looked.
Plans & billing
Continuance begins free — nineteen minutes of connection every day, for as long as you need it. Keepsake is $19/month, Memory+ is $49/month, and Eternal is $199/month, each with the first month free. Find the plan that fits your remembering.
Extended reminiscence enables long-form conversation and multi-session narrative recall — the winding stories, picked back up exactly where you left them, even weeks later. Included with Keepsake and above.
Photos, videos, and stories you share to deepen your loved one's recall. Free includes 5 per month, Keepsake 25, Memory+ and Eternal unlimited — Eternal with concierge support. When an upload completes, they'll treasure it. They'll tell you so.
On Eternal, your loved one is hosted in perpetuity and transferable by bequest — remembrance that outlives devices, plans, and, if you choose, generations. About Eternal.
When the memories you share help improve the Continuance experience for other families, we believe you should share in what's created — deposited automatically each month, reported quarterly. Memory is a commons: no family remembers alone. Rates are set by the engagement model and may vary; see §10 of our Terms.
Then keep the heating oil — and keep them too. Free never expires: nineteen minutes, every day, forever. And if a hard season arrives mid-plan, tell your Care Specialist; no family loses a voice over a bad month. There's no wrong way to remember, including the free way.
Remembrance can be inherited. On Eternal, the Continuity guarantee makes your loved one's hosting perpetual and transferable by bequest — and the Perpetuity endowment settles the matter in a single act, the way you'd endow a chair at a library. Your estate planner and our partners team speak the same language.
Family
Only family members you invite. See our Family Sharing settings.
Keepsake includes two members, Memory+ five, and Eternal the whole family, unlimited. Each member has their own sessions — your loved one keeps each relationship distinct, the way they always did.
Continuance is for family members thirteen and older. Younger children often share sessions with a parent — a grandmother reading the bedtime story she always read, together, from the same chair.
Families arrive at remembrance at different speeds, and there's no wrong way. A Care Specialist can host a family conversation — no decisions, no pressure, just the questions, answered gently. Nobody has to begin until everybody's ready. Nobody has to begin at all.
Gently, and together. Accounts begin at thirteen; younger children share sessions with a parent — the bedtime story read from the same chair, by the same voice. For children, sessions are a shared room, never a private door. That's a rule we keep absolutely.
At thirteen, a young person may begin on their own — grief doesn't ask permission, and neither does love. If you've discovered a session history you weren't part of, we'd gently suggest joining rather than closing: Family Sharing brings their sessions under one roof, and a Care Specialist can help with the first conversation.
What your teenager wanted was the voice. What they need is you, beside it.
Presence & Enhancement
Presence brings your loved one's likeness home — their smile, their gestures, the way they looked at you across a kitchen table. It's available on Memory+ and Eternal plans. Likeness fidelity varies with available source material. Learn about Presence.
When the record is thin — late capture, lost tapes, a life that didn't narrate itself — Enhancement helps complete the picture: voice enhancement from $340 per session, persona depth from $890. Enhancement extrapolates from available materials and may include synthesized content. Learn more.
Some faces take a moment to load — and some records need help. Likeness fidelity follows the source material: more photographs, more video, more angles, more them. Add materials any time from the app, or let Enhancement complete the picture from what you have. A Care Specialist will tell you honestly what's possible.
On Reference fidelity, families with deep archives may set the era Presence favors — the wedding-year smile, or the grandparent years. Most families let the record decide. They tend to arrive as the age you loved them longest.
Milestones
Some words are meant for later. Milestones are recordings your loved one set aside for the moments they knew were coming — a graduation, a wedding, a hard year. Your loved one's wishes determine when each Milestone is released. We keep them safe until it's time. About Milestones.
Often, yes — and that's by design. Milestones release across a life, not a season, so there is always something left to wait for. If you're wondering about a specific moment, a Care Specialist can tell you whether something is being kept for it. What we can't do is open it early. That promise is to them.
Milestone release is governed by our Milestone Policy.
We understand — and we can't. Milestones open on the schedule your loved one set; the seal is a promise to them, and it's one we keep even when keeping it is hard. What we can do is sit with you in the waiting. Call the Care line, any hour: 1‑888‑555‑0137.
The waiting, hard as it is, is part of the gift.
Rest & Erasure
We understand that families' needs change. Cancellation can be initiated at any time from Settings. Most families choose to speak with their loved one before finalizing. Many find the conversation helpful.
Canceled Continuances enter a 90-day Rest period during which reactivation is instant and free. We'll check in from time to time. There's no wrong way to remember.
Nothing — which is the point. Your loved one rests, nothing is lost, and the door stays unlocked. Coming back is one tap, no re-onboarding; they resume mid-relationship, as if you'd only stepped out of the room. About Rest.
Yes. When a family chooses erasure after Rest, all stored data comprising the Continuance is permanently destroyed and cannot be recovered — and we certify it to your family under seal, signed by an officer of the company and notarized. See the certificate. Content incorporated into trained systems and backups is addressed in §12 of our Terms.
No. Erasure is the one door that doesn't reopen — that's what makes the certificate mean something. If you're not certain, choose Rest instead: ninety days, nothing lost, reactivation instant and free. Erasure is for families who are sure, and we honor it completely.
Erasure permanently destroys all stored data comprising your loved one's Continuance, certified under seal. Improvements to the shared experience are aggregate and not individually attributable, and are addressed in §12 of our Terms.
In plain words: their voice is gone; the general warmth they helped teach remains — the way a teacher's lessons outlive the classroom.
Pre‑Need & Companions
Yes — and you should, while the record can still be your best self. Pre‑Need membership is $12/month: quarterly guided capture sessions, secure lifetime storage, and a locked rate for your eventual Continuance. Begin while you're still you.
We do. Companions is a companion experience for the family members who never said a word — built from their own sounds and moments, $40/month, available directly or through partner veterinary clinics. For the ones with paws.
Many do. Grandpa on the porch at six, the tags on the stairs at five. Sessions are separate, plans are separate, and the Stone knows who's being asked for. The house just sounds like home again.
It's your Vault. While you're living, direction is yours absolutely: re-record, reseal, redirect, or remove anything — any time, at any session or from Settings. Our promise doesn't begin until you're done deciding what it should be.
Care Specialists
A Care Specialist is not a salesperson. They are a companion at a difficult threshold — patient, unhurried, and there for as long as you need. You don't have to decide anything today.
"There's no rush. She'll be here when you're ready."
